House Parents,
On behalf of the House and Mite Directors, I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that Showcase and M.A.S.H. teams are starting to form for a spring hockey league. Showcase and M.A.S.H are fun leagues at all levels that lets the kids the opportunity to keep playing.
In years past, some parents have questioned CPYHA, specifically the House and Mite Directors, as to why their child has not been assigned to a team. It is important to note that these leagues are totally voluntary and coaches who form the teams can choose their players and playing level. Although CPYHA supports and encourages players to enhance their skills in the off season, the association is not involved at all in forming these teams. The responsibility falls solely on the coaches and parents that are forming the teams.
