The CPYHA Mini Rebels program is a FREE program designed to introduce players, ages 4-7, with little or no experience, to learn to skate and play hockey!  The goal of our program is to prepare the players for future hockey participation at the entry-level.

• LEARN TO SKATE AND PLAY HOCKEY 
• COST: FREE
• FOR PLAYERS WITHIN THE CPYHA BOUNDARIES
• Helmet and skates required

First Session:  9/9/2023 - 11/18/2023

• 1 Session per week
• 45-60 minutes per session
• Will generally be held Saturdays mid/late morning
• One goal/purpose of this earlier session is to graduate the Mini Rebels into the Rookie Mite program this fall
• We will be moving players up to Rookies as we feel they are ready to join the Rookie Mite group
• Skaters that do not move to Rookie Mites will be invited to register and continue Mini Rebels for the 2nd/Winter Session
• Registration is FREE 

Second Session:  12/2/2023 - 3/3/2024

• 1 Session per week 
• 45-60 minutes per session
• Will be held Saturdays - usually 9:30am-10:15am
• Registration is FREE

Mini Rebel requires a Helmet and Skates.  If your player graduates to Rookie Mites, full hockey gear will be required.

Any Mini Rebels that graduate to Rookie Mites will then have practice 2-3x per week (Saturday and Sunday mornings and 1 night per week outdoor ice).  While Rookie Mite registration is also free, these families may be required to participate in (or buyout of) other fundraisers such as the raffle tickets, candy bar sales, and meeting Dibs volunteer hours. 

This program is available only for players within the CPYHA school boundaries.
